Sound is the part of a wedding guests experience from the first minute to the last, yet it is often booked last. A few clear questions before you sign will tell you whether a supplier can handle your ceremony, your speeches and your party, not just the music.
Many weddings in Greece move between spaces: a ceremony by the sea, cocktails on a terrace, dinner and dancing elsewhere. Ask whether each area gets its own sound and who operates it during the transitions.
A good supplier asks about the space before quoting: indoor or outdoor, the shape of the area, the guest count and where people will sit. The answer should be a setup planned for your venue, not a standard package.
Ask how many wireless microphones are included, where speeches will happen and how the handover between speakers will work. For outdoor ceremonies, ask how microphones are protected from wind.
Find out whether the person who planned the setup will be there, and who adjusts the levels when dinner turns into a party.
If there is an indoor or covered backup, the sound plan should include it: where the speakers go, how long the move takes and who decides when.
In a beautifully designed venue, cables and speakers should be neat and discreet. Ask for photos of previous setups.
Power, access for equipment, setup and sound-check times, and any volume or finish-time limits. A supplier who asks these questions early is thinking carefully about the practical details.
