This privacy policy explains how DJY Events collects and uses personal data when you visit djy.gr or contact us about an event.

When you send an enquiry we collect your name, email address, phone number, and the event details you choose to share (type of event, date, venue, number of guests, services and your message). We use this information only to reply to you, check availability, prepare a proposal and, if you book, to plan and deliver your event.
Legal basis: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and performing the contract if you book (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
If you contact us directly by email, phone or WhatsApp, we use the details and messages you send for the same purposes.
We use Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Google Ads and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to understand how visitors use the website and to measure and improve our advertising. These tools use cookies and similar technologies and may collect information such as your IP address, device and browser type, pages visited and the website you came from.
Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw consent at any time by deleting cookies in your browser or adjusting your cookie preferences.
Our contact form uses Google reCAPTCHA to protect against spam. reCAPTCHA processes information about your device and behaviour on the page. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the website secure (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Some pages include content from other services, such as Spotify playlists, Instagram posts and Google reviews. When you interact with this content, the provider may collect data about you under its own privacy policy.
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the website and our business, such as our website hosting and email delivery providers, Google and Meta for the tools described above, and, where needed to deliver your event, your wedding planner or venue. Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, with appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
We keep enquiries that do not lead to a booking for up to 24 months. If you book, we keep the related records for as long as required by Greek tax and accounting law. Analytics data is kept according to the retention settings of each provider.
We use essential cookies required for the website to work (for example to remember your language), and, with your consent, analytics and advertising cookies from Google and Meta as described above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time.
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise these rights, email info@djy.gr.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr).
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
